SEO Certification Pathways

Option 1    7-Day Classroom Program (PASEO)

• Offered by the PA State Association of Sewage Enforcement Officers (PASEO)
• Includes ~5 days of classroom instruction, 2 days of soils instruction (Soil Hub), and a 4-hour exam
• Requires additional online training in soils and other topics
• Payments required: three separate payments (PASEO registration via PASEO website, Precertification Soils Course, and exam fee)

 

Option 2     4-Day Classroom and Clean Water Academy Online Program

• Offered by Clean Water Academy and Soil Hub
• Includes 2 days of field activities and 2 days of soils instruction (Soil Hub). Concludes with a 4-hour exam.
• Requires at least 30 hours of online training, broken into short courses that can be completed anytime, anywhere, and revisited as needed
• Payments required: four separate payments (online courses, Precertification Soils Course, SEO Field Days, and exam fee)
