pre-academy self-study, 32 hours of classroom time, 14 hours of field time, and
7 hours of online training. The final
exam is 4 hours. Total is 63.5 hours

Others prefer the flexibility of online learning, where they can move at their own pace, review material, and retake content—all while saving on travel and training costs. It’s important to note that both options provide more than four full days of classroom instruction.
4. What is the order
courses should be taken?
The order presented in the CWA for each Training Program is the recommended sequence. We would recommend learners carefully track the dates for the classroom events and exam.
5. What are testing requirements for each option?
- Both options require passing the Soil Exam and the final
Precertification Exam.

gauge learning comprehension but are not technically graded.
