This course covers the basics of how to conduct an erosion and sediment control inspection, more commonly referred to as an E&S inspection. It contains training modules on related Best Management Practices (BMPs) and topics. Erosion and sediment control inspections are critical to determine the actual function of installed BMPs and to identify compliance assistance measures when failures are observed. The target audience for this training is conservation district and DEP staff but could be helpful to other construction professionals as well.
