This course is intended for individuals that wish to conduct a workshop(s) for farmers on how to write Manure Management Plans.

Supplemental On-Site Status Review Report

The Supplemental Status Review Form is to be used for all Nutrient Management Plan On-site Status Reviews in the state.  The purpose of the Supplemental Status Review Form is to gather additional Nutrient Management Best Management Practices in regards to N and P rate, timing, and placement,  The Supplemental Status Review Form, at this time was primarily developed for Chesapeake Bay Reporting, but statewide data is helpful for planning purposes.

After this course, learners will be able to understand how P losses are affected by landscape and management factors, understand how the P Index is used to identify critical sources areas for P losses, be able to calculate P Index scores for different field and management scenarios and understand how the P Index is used in different nutrient management planning contexts
