The 2022 Virtual Conservation District and PA Agency Ag Meeting was held via Zoom February 23-24, 2022.
This annual meeting has been expanded to include sessions that are relevant to conservation districts across the state, as well as more focused sessions for conservation districts in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
Staff from PA state agencies, USDA-NRCS, and conservation district agricultural technicians, watershed specialists, and management attended.
The agenda included topics such as agency updates, successful private/public partnerships, soil health education, targeting outreach and BMP implementation using PracticeKeeper data, targeted restoration using EPA’s recovery potential screening tool, maximizing your Clean Water Academy resources, county CAP successes, funding and leveraging partners to get projects on the ground, and other timely and relevant sessions.
