Funding a Stream Restoration Project Danville, Montour County

Geisinger health system worked with local and state partners to stabilize eroding stream banks and improve Sechler Run. Sechler Run is agriculturally impaired from sediment and included in the 2012 TMDL for Mahoning Creek. While Geisinger as the landowner provided some assistance, the project was funded using programs for agricultural BMPs.
