This webinar will define trout streams in Pennsylvania and the biological criteria that needs to be met to be classified as a naturally reproducing wild trout stream. We will discuss who is responsible for identifying, managing and maintaining listings of wild trout streams in Pennsylvania, as well as where to find listings of wild trout streams. We will discuss time of year restrictions for conducting in stream work as provided in Chapter 105 General Permits and why they are important to protect aquatic resources.
The presenter, Clayton Good is the Encroachment Biologist in the Division of Environmental Services for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Clayton provides resource comments on Chapter 105 permit applications, provides technical assistance for accommodating aquatic organism passage and reviews waiver requests for time of year restrictions. Clayton is a graduate of Lycoming College and has experience working with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and a County Conservation District. In his free time, Clayton enjoys pursuing the abundant outdoor recreation opportunities that Pennsylvania has to offer with his family and friends.
