Detailed BMP Entry Form
1. Counties filling out Milestone Updates are also required to fill out a Detailed BMP Entry Form. This form lists out various nutrient-reducing BMPs. This link provides a template of the Detailed BMP Entry Form.
2. Counties will also receive a BMP Summary sheet showing prior numeric goals generated by the county in previous years in one column and showing a column of actual reported BMPs (progress on the ground) by all the county’s data reporters in another column. To fill out the “BMP Quantity” column in the Detailed BMP Entry form, the county will generate updated numeric goals by comparing previous aspirational goals listed on the BMP Summary sheet (Column titled “County 2 Year Update [BMP entry form from previous cycle]”) with the numbers in the “Progress” column of that same sheet. Any BMP showing a previous goal generated by the county that is less than the reported progress should be adjusted to match at least the reported progress. Additionally, those BMPs that counties are particularly focusing on should also have their numeric goal increased to reflect this anticipated effort.
