By December 8, 2025, site inspections must be performed by qualified personnel who are trained and experienced in the construction, function, and maintenance of Erosion & Sediment (E&S) and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) Best Management Practices (BMPs). Inspectors must also be familiar with the specific E&S and PCSM Plans for the project site. One way to meet these qualifications is by completing the Qualified Visual Site Inspector Training Program offered through DEP’s Clean Water Academy.
