Intended Audience: Anyone interested in being Certified as a Pennsylvania Sewage Enforcement Officer under the Authority of PA DEP. 

Content: The SEO Precertification Academy is designed to equip future SEOs with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to serve a local agency and carry out responsibilities related to permitting on-lot sewage disposal systems in Pennsylvania municipalities. This comprehensive training prepares candidates to confidently enter the profession and ensures alignment with state standards and expectations. Completion of this academy is a required step before taking the official PA SEO certification exam.

Timing:  The field exercise portion of the SEO Academy will take 2 days, and the precertification soils component will take 2 days.   

Cost: The cost for this Training Program will be $300 for the Online or Technical Training and $325 for the SEO Field Training Days, $550 for the Precertification Soils Course and $25 for the Exam. 

You must complete all the online or self study courses before you attend the classroom events.
